About Us
Welcome to Aim & Grow
Every moment of play can be a moment of learning.
Aim & Grow began with a simple belief: before children can count, name colours, or write their name, important foundations must first be built.
They learn to look, notice, engage, respond, communicate, persist, take turns, and adapt.
These early skills may seem small, but they support everything that follows.
Structured. Purposeful. Joyful.
Everything we create is designed to make learning feel clear, meaningful, and enjoyable.
Whether a child is matching, sorting, scooping, searching, imagining, communicating, or solving a problem, there is a purposeful skill woven into the play.
Each experience gently builds on what the child already knows, helping them move forward one achievable step at a time.
Learning at their pace, not their age.
Children develop in different ways and at different rates.
That is why Aim & Grow is built around skills rather than age alone. Children can begin where they are, practise until something feels familiar, and move forward when they are ready.
We also make the purpose behind each resource clear, so families, educators, therapists, and caregivers understand what a child is practising, why it matters, and how to support them when something feels difficult.
The skills developed through play are not meant to stay on a page or inside a sensory bin.
They carry into mealtimes, playgrounds, early learning settings, classrooms, family routines, and everyday conversations.
Because the most meaningful learning is the learning children can use in real life.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Alex, the founder of Aim & Grow.
I've always been fascinated by the way children learn: how they play, communicate, explore, problem solve, and grow in their own time, in their own way.
For more than six years, I worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner supporting children and families across homes, schools, and early learning settings. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, but the heart of Aim & Grow was truly shaped through my work with children and families. Sitting beside them, learning from them, breaking skills into small, achievable steps, and feeling the joy and confidence that comes when a child realises — I can do this.
Again and again, I saw the same thing: children thrive when learning feels structured, purposeful, and playful; and parents, families, educators, therapists, and caregivers feel more confident when they have resources that are simple, clear, and easy to use.
Aim & Grow was created for children who learn in different ways, at different stages, and at their own pace. Some children need extra support, some are ready for a new challenge, and some simply love to explore, create, touch, sort, move, and discover. That is why our resources focus on skills rather than age, because children do not all develop in the same order, at the same speed, or in the same way.
My hope is that every family, educator, therapist, and caregiver feels that Aim & Grow is something they can use with confidence: choosing resources that meet the child where they are and support their next step in a way that feels simple, meaningful, and easy to bring into everyday life.
Every Aim & Grow resource is created with one clear purpose: to help children build real skills through play, one small step at a time. For me, the most meaningful moments are when a child practises something during play, then begins to use that same skill in real life: at breakfast, at school, in the car, around the dinner table, or in those little everyday moments that matter most.
That is what Aim & Grow is all about.
